SHERIFF’S OFFICE WARNS PUBLIC OF POSSIBLE MOUNTAIN LION SIGHTING
Santa Fe, NM, December 2, 2015 – The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Animal Control Division cautions the public to be aware of a possible roaming mountain lion in the Rancho Viejo area of south Santa Fe in the vicinity of the Santa Fe Community College and the Institute of American Indian Arts campus. According to Sheriff Robert A. Garcia “we received information today from an area resident who believes they saw a mountain lion in the area of the Rancho Viejo subdivision.”
Please, watch out for mountain lion while walking your dogs and keep your cats inside.
